Trigo Proposed Project And Conceptual Plan Of Cultural Corridor
Proposed Project & Conceptual Plan of "Cultural Corridor" of TRIGO GROUP
Stamps, coins. sentimental collections of antiques cars & watches, pens, souvenirs, paintings, old postcards, pictures and photos, banknotes and financial instruments and papers, are part of the Cultural Property, which normally are classified as part of the cultural products in our Cultural Enterprises.
If traded in the auction market, it forms quite important elements of our Cultural Industry & Cultural Economy. This is what Trigo Group heading to and aiming for, is our Vision and Mission.
Worldwide, cultural industries are considered the 5 th largest economic sector in terms of turnover, after financial services, information technology, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, and tourism. It is expected that the global value of creative industries will increase from USD831billion in 2000 to USD1.3trillion in 2005, which represents a compound annual growth of over 7%. Cultural industries across the world are built mainly on a myriad of small-medium sized enterprises (SME). This is part of the sustainable development of Culture & Tourism.
From a strictly economic perspective, cultural heritage is a resource, an asset. The promotion and preservation of our Malaysian cultural heritage is not only the vehicle and proof of spiritual achievements of different traditions; it also epitomizes the basic traits of the peoples of the world, embodies precious spiritual resources and material wealth handed down from generation to generation of human civilization.
Some can be deem as our human living treasures, also as our “intangible cultural heritage” which means the practices, representations, expressions, knowledge, skills – as well as the instruments, objects, artifacts and cultural spaces associated therewith – that communities, groups and, in some cases, individuals recognizes as part of their cultural heritage. This intangible cultural heritage transmitted from generation to generation, is constantly recreated by communities and groups in response to their environment, thus promoting respect for cultural diversity and human creativity………
Trigo Group and its associated non profit cultural organizations are actively promoting this educational programs & cultural exchange by providing the platforms in form of seminars, conferences, exhibitions, shows, events, like International Money Fairs at PWTC FY 2002-2004, Stamp Show, Gallery Roadshows, Issuance of historical postcards and books.
Trigo Group also provide its permanent exhibition center & customer services at Amcorp Mall, Lot 327, 18, Jalan Persiaran Barat, Off Jalan Timur, PJ, and another window of TRIGO also opne up for public and our friends at Zheng He Gallery at MINES-MIECC.
